Gặp mặt các thành viên của Chương trình nâng cao nghiệp vụ báo chí và phòng chống tác hại thuốc lá lần thứ 2

Các thành viên của Chương trình Nâng cao nghiệp vụ báo chí và phòng chống tác hại thuốc lá vừa có cuộc gặp mặt lần thứ 2 ngày 21/9 vừa qua tại thành phố Hồ Chí Minh với chủ đề cấm quảng cáo, khuyến mại và tài trợ thuốc lá.

Tại cuộc gặp mặt lần này, các chuyên gia của VINACOSH, ACS và Trung tâm Truyền thông và Giáo dục Sức khỏe tpHCM đã trao đổi với các nhà báo các quy định về cấm quảng cáo thuốc lá, cơ sở của việc cấm, tình hình thực hiện và những bất cập trên thực tế. Nhiều biến tướng của quảng cáo, khuyến mại và tài trợ của các công ty thuốc lá đã được chia sẻ với báo chí.

Sau khi đi thực địa, các nhà báo cùng thực hành và thảo luận về cách viết lead của một bài báo với sự hướng dẫn của chuyên gia truyền thông của ACS.

ACS xin giới thiệu một số lead do một số phóng viên tác nghiệp ngay tại hội thảo ngay sau bản tin nay. Rất mong nhận được nhiều ý kiến trao đổi của các đồng nghiệp phóng viên.

Reports says developing countries remain uprepared for cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment (Kaiser Family Foundation, International)

"Developing countries will bear 60 percent of the world's cancer burden by 2020 and 70 percent by 2030," according to a report released Thursday during the World Cancer Congress in Shenzhen, China, Reuters reports. These countries also lack the necessary "infrastructure … to prevent cancer, diagnose it early or provide long-term treatment, according to CanTreat International, which comprises experts from leading international cancer organizations," the news service writes.
