Thông báo tìm đại sứ ung thư và đại diện quốc gia dự sự kiện tại New York

ACS is leading a unique event in June at the United Nations in New York to push for cancer to be put on the global agenda. We need the support of Global Cancer Ambassadors worldwide.

We are looking for people who have powerful stories about how cancer OR tobacco has affected them and their country, but with a personal touch. For example, a cancer survivor who can speak in a compelling way to media and to their country's UN Mission would be a great candidate to apply. Or a TC advocate who can speak eloquently and passionately about the burden of tobacco (or aggressive marketing from the industry) in their region.

Contact Ms.Hoa at diephoa@fhi.org.vn to receive application form.

The deadline for the candidates to send in their completed form is March 1st, at the address indicated in the application. The ACS will cover the expenses of the selected candidates.

Those wishing to represent their country at the UN during this meeting, the application is available in English, French and Spanish. We would like to have your help in disseminating this application to potential candidates in your country. (Please read the form to get an idea of what we are looking for exactly.

Special consideration will be given to applicants from the following countries:

Asia
Japan
China
India
Thailand
Philippines
Vietnam
Pakistan

If interested, you can fill out the form below and return to wecanweshouldwewill@gmail.com by March 15th, 2011. The subject of the email should be your name and country. The American Cancer Society will be selecting Global Journalist Fellows by March 30th, 2011.
